I love assisting someone make the transition from the “I can’t do it” or “it’s too hard” mindset, to being more confident in themselves and realizing that with some hard work they can in fact do hard things. That first push up? That first pull up? That goal weight you want to bench press and or squat? It’s all achievable, and I enjoy helping people to realize that. The stay at home mom who may not know what to do but wants to get in better shape, or busy father who doesn’t have a lot of time carved into his schedule to spend hours at the gym, Some of us just want to be able to pick our grandchildren up, keep up with them when they run, live longer or just look and feel good. My aim is to take the average person from inert to moving and show them that they too can build a solid level of fitness, from the ground up. It can be daunting, but everyone was a beginner at some point and time. I believe that Fitness is a community, and those of us with a little more experience should reach back and lift up the people who want to get to the next level but just need some guidance.
I am a certified personal trainer through AAAI ISMA, I have assisted family members and coworkers with some of their fitness goals, and I am looking to learn more about nutrition so that I can be of further assistance. I completed the Murph Challenge in 2023, and love those high intensity workouts that get you sweating and your muscles sore.
