Kelsey Peddicord

Kelsey is a student at the University of Maryland, soon graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. She is working toward becoming a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, with a goal of working with people of all ages and experience levels. Through her membership at Golds Gym Dundalk, she has witnessed the impact of Do Work Factory firsthand, which inspired her to join the team for a hands-on internship experience!

In her childhood, Kelsey was a competitive dancer, where she developed a love for self-expression through movement. She built a strong foundation in physical literacy, coachability, and discipline, which she continues to carry into her training today.

Kelsey once viewed the gym as an intimidating environment, but she grew to love strength and cardio training after having support to join Golds Gym in high school. She proudly credits this experience as a turning point in her life, not only for her fitness journey but for who she is today.

As she incorporated fitness into her personal life, Kelsey became motivated to pursue it academically and professionally. Through a strength and conditioning internship at Towson University, she worked with a variety of athletes and developed a stronger understanding of training for sport performance. This opportunity helped her discover a passion for using exercise not only to enhance performance, but to also promote longevity. She strives to be a role model and support system for individuals looking to build confidence, develop sustainable habits, and navigate health across the lifespan.

Kelsey is excited to be challenged, to learn, and to grow into herself as a future trainer and coach!
